Projects undertaken through the City College Architectural Center, City College of New York Spitzer School of Architecture.
1. Lisa Saenz Park, the Bronx — Design and construction of a small minipark in an underserved area among public housing, supervised by a nonprofit organization. The design's minimal budget was devoted to rebuilding a crumbling 12-foot retaining wall to support the park and separate the residents living on the lower levels. A sitting wall and handicapped accessible entrance was built to maintain the only surviving tree.
2. Highbridge Park, Manhattan — Study for the revitalization of a neglected section of Highbridge Park in Washington Heights, Manhattan, using sustainable landscape design techniques to create accessible open space for neighborhood residents.
