Buena Vista Senior Housing

Site design and supervision of construction of a housing complex for senior citizens. The site was designed with strict adherence to xeriscape principles, focusing on low maintenance and the provision of shade and privacy by using drought tolerant and native trees. The planting of grasses, a novelty at that time, helped bring the outside landscape into the interior of the complex.
