Master Plans
Recreation and Conservation Plan for the Sources of the Jordan River and the Hula Valley, Israel. A master plan to guide the development of a highly sensitive region which is the primary source of water for the entire country. The plan was designed to resolve the conflicts between three open space users: conservation, recreation and agriculture. It sought to protect the water ways, redirect runoff from agricultural uses, attract migratory birds and provide extensive recreational opportunities. It also suggested significant connections between Israel and Jordan.
